• Question: Which other animals other than primates have developed a language which have the complexity of primate languages?

      I have only studied primate communication personally, so I’m no expert in other kinds of animal communication. I would say that birds are a really fascinating case because they have complex abilities similar to humans – for example they understand if they are being watched when they hide food, and change their hiding spots just like primates. However, their brains are very different from primate brains, so as a non expert I find birds intriguing!
