      I think the most important thing about being a researcher is to talk to others about your findings (I am assuming here that everyone is doing their work properly!). We as researchers have conferences, workshops, journals and all sorts of other outlets to show our findings to each other. And we also need to talk to the public, companies and the government about what we found out. If we find something amazing but tell no one, our finding is basically a little bit useless because no one can benefit from it in any way.
      Personally, I think the most interesting about doing research is looking at your data and trying to make sense of it: a lot of work has gone into trying to design an experiment that will answer a question and then collecting the data. Once you got that in your hands, you can then (hopefully) get some sort of answer to your question! That’s a really exciting and interesting part of research.
