• Question: which animals have the closest bonds with humans?

      Ooof, good question. I’m not sure what you mean by “closeness”, but don’t do any work with animals at all, so I don’t think I can try to answer this question.

      Dogs can form very close attachments to humans and while cats also form bonds with humans, they are different and less dependent on their owners. We think horses can also form very close bonds with their owners, but don’t have strong evidence one way or the other on this in terms of experimental research.
