Inspired by recent events: I just found free biscuits to snack on in our departmental kitchen! That’s pretty great.
More seriously though, I love that I get to work on a topic that really interests me. I get to find out brand new things that no one really knew before and can work with amazing colleagues who share my interests. The job also really gets boring: more or less every day is different and even if I might be stuck doing something slightly dull for a day or two, something else that’s more interesting or fun will certainly pop up in no time.
