I don’t have any kids of my own, but I’m a not-really-aunty to my best friend’s boy (he is 7) and he always asks to play ‘science experiments’ with me when I visit. His Dad (my best friend) is a scientist too and we make explosions a lot.

I don’t have children, but I come from a big extended family. One of my many cousins is an engineer, but there are no other scientists, so I sort of got interested in it by myself. I think this is true for lots of my scientist friends too!

I have 2 kids but they’re a bit young to be into science. Mostly they are into princesses and splashing in puddles. But they are both curious about how the world works, and I’m hoping to encourage them to keep asking science questions when they’re older.
