I liked some bits of school – there were subjects I really enjoyed, and I had some great friends. But I used to worry when people would say things like ‘school days are the best days of your life’. They definitely weren’t for me!

There were some bits I liked. I enjoyed being able to learn lots of different things at once, but there were subjects I didn’t particularly like, and although I had some great friends, I didn’t get on with everyone (that’s life!). There are some really good bits of school, but I enjoyed university much more!

Yes, I loved school. I loved seeing my friends every day. And I really liked the structure and routine… I often think i’d get a lot more done if I had that kind of structure in my life now.

There were times when I was not very keen on going to school, because of a particular subject, teacher or even classmates… but, overall, I must say that I have always liked school and I was lucky enough to have very good teachers and I have always loved learning new things, that’s true even now, so school was a great place for that reason.
